Vox Populi, Vox Dei

Vox populi, vox Dei means “the voice of the people is the voice of God.” In the early Church, before a formal canonization process existed, saints were first recognized by the faithful themselves. Such is the case for Fr. Peter Sticco SAC, who was configured in a special way to be the head & shepherd of his people in New Jersey, New York, & the missions. He expended all of his energies with an undivided heart until the end of his life, and let no obstacle get in his way. Through great endurance, an unfailing humor, and a vigilant spirit, he was able to face and overcome ever new demands.

This website is a testament to his life created by the youth that he championed, and who he constantly encouraged to respond to God’s greatness.
